This will be the teams 5th year of operation and we are just getting stronger and stronger through the placement and advancement of our players.
The Philadelphia Jackals Jr. 'A' Organization is one of the “Elite Programs” on the east coast in the IJHL, reason being is we can guarantee that by our Program, Staff and Placement of Players to NCAA, Major Jr. A and Minor Pro. The Jackals are committed to helping players further their education through hockey. The Jackals have a stacked Coaching Staff that has the connections and contacts, along with their credibility, to get their players where they belong, as where others fall short in their promises they tell players and the facts are all that are needed to show it. There are allot of good Junior Programs throughout the USA but as we all know, some of the promises made do fall short and politics play a heavy role as well.
The Jackals are committed to providing players the greatest possible competition, development, talent, character, education and exposure. In order to do so, we enable the players to achieve long term success on an athletic, personal and academic level. Jackal games are regularly attended and watched by NCAA Colleges, ACHA, Major Junior and Pro Scouts on the "LIVE" Broadcast of the games on the net. The exposure of the Jackals has gained the team a reputation as a source of quality talent and former players can be found at virtually every level of hockey, including the NCAA, Minor Pro Leagues, European Pro Leagues and CIAU/CIS (Canadian University Athletics).
What makes the Jackals different is there commitment and loyalty to its own; the players, staff, arena, fans and community. We will make sure that everyone of our graduating players receives an HONEST look at all Division I and III Colleges, as well as those players looking to play Major Jr. and Minor Pro. Sure other Jr. Teams say they do this, but the problem is those teams do not have the man power to make the phone calls, e-mails and send continuous video and stats on players after every single game and bios, as the Jackals Players receive.
The Jackals program is run and operated as a Pro Hockey Club, with the exception that the players are not paid and the programs function is to promote all Jackal Players to NCAA Div. I and III, ACHA, CIAU/CIS, Major Jr. and Minor Pro Teams. With the Jackals staff being from the Collegiate Level and the Gm/Head Coach being an Assistant Pro Hockey Coach still today, as well as a Scout in three Professional Hockey Leagues, the UHL (former), IHL, ECHL and SPHL, this alone boosts the credibility of the team. With the Jackals having contacts at all College and Pro Levels, they have the market cornered with their reputation to produce quality players to those levels. Credibility is something that you TRULY need in any business, without it, the business will not survive nor will your credibility be acknowledged. The Jackals pride themselves on seeing all their Players be promoted, regardless if it would hurt the team to have them move on, because the program is about the players, not the owners/coaches or the owners wallet.
The Jackals Jr. 'A' Program is here to provide an opportunity for hockey players to play at an elite level of their sport, stressing development of character, sense of community, education, promotion of excellence, and thereby providing entertainment to, and promotion of our players to the next level, whether that be the NCAA, ACHA, Major Jr. or Pros.
We provide an opportunity for many young hockey players who have progressed through the minor hockey system, or that have been through the ringer with the false promises and gimmicks by other organizations, to play the highest caliber of hockey and to complete or furthering their education, as well as being seen and given guaranteed looks by Division I and III NCAA, CIS, CIAU and ACHA Teams . With the Jackals GM/Head Coach still working in Pro Hockey, the Jackals are in daily communications with NCAA Div. I and III, CIS, CIAU, ACHA, Major Jr. and Pro Teams to promote their Players.
The Jackals also contribute and enhance the quality of life not just to the players but throughout North America and by the sport and entertainment vehicle of Junior 'A' Hockey. A Player/Parent needs to understand that it is the "Program" that moves players on, not the league or sanctioning body of that league.
We also provide an opportunity within our community for both volunteer participation as well as family and fan enjoyment with the goal of developing and maintaining community pride and spirit as a whole.

The Philadelphia Jackals Goal for the 2010-11 Season:
•
To have Large Crowds, at the top in the IJHL each year. We want our FANS to be the loudest fans in

the league and want opposing teams to know and admit it when they come to play in our barn and make all games family orientated.
•
To join a winning tradition. Players will learn quickly to be proud of wearing a Jackals Jersey.
• To provide each player the necessary tools to achieve their personal goals, on and off the ice.
•
To build a team made up of character individuals who are prepared to commit themselves to being the very best they can both on and off the ice and in the community.
•
To involve players in the community so as to expand their knowledge and experiences outside of the dressing room to prepare them for life after H.S. and into College.
•
To provide an environment based on the principles of fairness, morals, ethics and equality for all players to mature and grow into professional your men.
•
The Jackals do offer partial scholarship for Players through a "Sponsorship Program".
•
To see that all Jackal Players will have NCAA Div. I and III and ACHA Prospect Packets sent to every
NCAA team on a “monthly monitor data base system.” Every player will be put into this data base as
part of their Player Fee at no extra cost.
•
To win a National Championship!!!!
